The New Media Innovation Lab is a research and development program designed to help media companies create new and exciting multimedia products.
Directed by the Cronkite School, the lab brings together students from disciplines across campus, including journalism, business, engineering, computer science and graphic design.
To qualify for three credits students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be in the Cronkite School or be a mass communications graduate student. The lab can be a capstone.
Students must commit to a minimum of 12 hours and a maximum of 20 hours a week in the lab, which is located in Room 206 of the Cronkite building. Students will receive an hourly stipend. During the summer session, students can work up to 40 hours a week.

Deadlines are Nov. 15 for the spring semester and April 15 for the summer session. Deadlines for early admission for the fall semester is May 1.
